The Mandali is glad to inform your good self that our 86th Sree Ramanavami Music Festival shall be held from 09/04/2024 to 10/05/2024 at the Special Pandal, Old Fort High School Grounds. Over 400 International repute musicians will be performing in these 32 days of music extravaganza. Apart from Music concerts, the Mandali like every year has also organised Ramayana discourses by Saints and scholars and the same shall be held in the mornings. The 21st Prathibhakankshi Music Competition shall be held during the festival. The Ramanavami commemorates the birth centenary of our founder Sri S V Narayanaswamy Rao, the Golden Jubilee of renaming Mysore state as Karataka and 25 years of Fort Ramanavami under Sri S N Varadaraj.

The festival shall also witness the presentation of 3 awards of the Mandali namely The Rama Gana Kalacharya Global Award ; S.V.Narayanaswamy Rao Global Music Lifetime achievement Award & Veda Vyasa Sanman National Award for Philosophy & literature. A Founders Day is also scheduled to be organised during the festival.

Preparations for Ramanavami amidst the Pandemic:

  1. Entry only for people who are completely vaccinated.
  2. The venue is being sanitised twice once before and once after the concert.
  3. Sanitiser dispensers and sanitisation tunnels are being installed at the entrance.
  4. Hot water dispensers are being provided.
